• The 3rd Position Thread Roll Attachment (1431-SA) is connected to a special swing arm casting with 2 thread rolls.

• The swing arm feeds the attachment until the rolls are on center with the blank diameter of the work piece.

• The attachment feeds the rolls inward on the center line of the work piece.

• When the threads are formed, the roll arms are released.

• The attachment returns to the home position.
